ŸPONTO-CHO AND KIYA-MACHI AS SEEN FROM THE EAST BANK OF
THE KAMOGAWA RIVER
In order to harmonize the townscape with the traditonal Ponto-cho district,
tall buildings to the rear were given slanted roofs; rooftop signage was
removed, the color of river-front decks, their awnings, and outdoor
airconditioning units was deepened to beige; grass was introduced to the
top of the river embankment.
